Overview
The Teaching garden workshops provide practical gardening knowledge as well as some of the theory behind organic techniques of growing food throughout the year. They give families the opportunity to learn & practice their newly acquired skills before trying on their own home garden plot. Each month we cover topics relevant to the season.
Choose between the morning or evening session. Childminding is available for the morning sessions only.
The Seasons of Food program also includes classes in nutrition and cooking. Email hastingsfoodsac@gmail.com for details.
